How to Use Your Vitality Eye Patches
Bright eyes, every hour.
Your two-minute guide to getting the most from every pair. Whatever the moment — a slow morning, a big night, or skin that simply needs calm — here's how to use your Evedia patches beautifully and safely.

Six steps to your best under-eyes
Every Evedia formula follows the same simple rhythm. Master this once, and you've mastered all four.
Start clean
Gently cleanse and pat the under-eye area dry. Patches grip best — and absorb best — on bare, dry skin.
Place gel-side down
Each patch has a smoother, flatter side and a rounded side. The flat, gel side goes against your skin; the rounded side faces out. Position under the eye with the wider end toward the temple, a little away from the lash line.
Press to seal
Smooth gently with a fingertip so the whole patch makes contact. Sit upright for the first minute so they stay in place.
Relax & let them work
Leave on for 15–20 minutes (20–30 for Dusk). Take them off before they dry out — none of our patches are meant to be worn overnight. This is your moment — breathe, sip, rest.
Remove & press in
Peel away and tap any remaining essence into the skin. Nothing to rinse — let that good stuff sink in.
Seal the glow
Follow with your serum or moisturizer. Patches are single-use, so discard after wearing.
A formula for every moment
Same steps, four intentions. Here's when to reach for each — and the little touches that make them shine. New to Evedia? The Discovery Collection lets you try all four.

Blue Hour
- Chill them overnight in the fridge for an extra cooling, de-puffing lift.
- Apply to clean skin first thing in the morning, gel-side down.
- Leave on 15–20 minutes while you get ready.
- Press in the essence; follow with serum.

Golden Hour
- Cleanse and tone, then apply gel-side down with the wider end toward the temples.
- Relax 15–20 minutes for a luminous glow.
- Massage the remaining gold essence into the skin.
- Finish with moisturizer or serum.

Twilight
- Apply to clean under-eyes, gel-side down, whenever skin feels stressed or reactive.
- Leave on 15–20 minutes to soothe and comfort.
- Remove and gently pat in the remaining essence.
- Especially lovely after sun, travel, or a long day.

Dusk
- Apply to clean under-eyes, gel-side down, as part of your evening routine.
- Wear 20–30 minutes — the longest of the four. Remove before the patch dries out; these aren't designed to be slept in.
- Remove, pat in the remaining essence, then follow with your eye cream.
- Contains retinol — start 2–3 nights a week and build up as your skin adjusts.
Pro tips to get the most from every pair
Chill them first
Keep your patches in the fridge. The cool temperature feels wonderful and helps improve the look of puffiness, especially with Blue Hour.
Don't let them dry out
Remove patches while they're still moist. If a hydrogel patch fully dries on the skin, it can begin to draw moisture back out — so stick to the recommended time.
Layer thin to thick
Patches go on after cleansing and toner, but before heavier creams or oils. Save your richest products for last.
Massage in the essence
That serum left on your skin is the good part — don't wipe it away. Gently tap it in until absorbed.
Consistency over intensity
A few times a week, regularly, tends to show more in the mirror than one occasional marathon session.
One and done
Patches are single-use. Discard after each wear rather than re-applying — fresh patches mean fresh actives and better hygiene.
Safety & good-to-knows
Our formulas are gentle and designed for everyday use. A few simple habits keep your experience comfortable and worry-free.
- Patch test first. Before your first use, apply to a small area (like the inner arm) and wait 24 hours to check for sensitivity.
- Don't sleep in your patches. Like all hydrogel patches, Evedia patches work while they're moist. Once they dry — which happens long before morning — they can begin drawing moisture back out of the skin. Wear them for the recommended time, then remove. (No Evedia patch, including Dusk, is designed for overnight wear.)
- Retinol & sunlight (Dusk). Retinol can make skin more sensitive to the sun. Use Dusk in your evening routine only, and apply a broad-spectrum SPF the next morning. The delicate eye area loves a gentle start — begin 2–3 nights a week and keep patches away from the lash line.
- For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes themselves. If product gets into your eye, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Skip broken or irritated skin. Don't apply over cuts, active breakouts, sunburn, or inflamed areas.
- Discontinue if irritation occurs and let skin rest. Persistent redness or stinging is your cue to pause.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding? Many people prefer to avoid retinol (in Dusk) during this time — please check with your healthcare provider first. The other three formulas don't contain retinol.
- Store cool and dry, away from direct sunlight, and keep pouches sealed so patches stay fresh.
- Keep out of reach of children. Not intended for use on children.
Always patch test
New skincare deserves a gentle introduction. A quick 24-hour patch test on a small area is the easiest way to make sure a formula loves your skin back — especially if you're sensitive or trying retinol for the first time.
Apply · Wait 24h · Then enjoyHow the full ritual flows
Your patches are lovely on their own — and they're one piece of a bigger rhythm. The Evedia ritual begins with light, layers in care while your skin is most receptive, and brightens the eyes whenever you like. Here's the order we recommend.

ION LED Mask
The foundation — an FDA-cleared Class II medical device. Professional-grade light therapy, 10–20 minutes a few times a week.

Daily Glow Multi-Peptide Serum
Smoothed on right after your light session, while skin is primed to drink it in.

Collagen Renewal Mask
A deeper hydrogel ritual for the whole face — once or a few times a week.

Vitality Eye Patches
Layer them in afterward or throughout your day — a 15-minute lift whenever your eyes want one.
Starting with the patches? You're already in the ritual. Add the rest whenever you're ready — there's no wrong place to begin.
Eye patch FAQ
Which side goes against my skin?
The smoother, flatter side is the gel side — that goes down, against your skin. The slightly rounded side faces outward. Position each patch under the eye with the wider end toward your temple, just below the lash line.
How long do I leave them on?
15–20 minutes for Blue Hour, Golden Hour, and Twilight. Dusk is worn a little longer — 20–30 minutes. Whichever formula you choose, remove the patches while they're still moist: like all hydrogel patches, once they dry they can begin drawing moisture back out of your skin, so longer isn't better.
Can I sleep in my Dusk patches?
We don't recommend it. Dusk is a hydrogel patch, and hydrogel patches only work while they're moist. Once a patch dries — which happens well before morning — it can start pulling moisture back out of your skin, the opposite of what you want, and there's no occlusive layer to seal anything in. Instead, wear Dusk for 20–30 minutes in your evening routine, remove it, press in the remaining essence, and follow with your eye cream. (And because Dusk contains retinol, apply a broad-spectrum SPF the next morning.)
How often should I use my eye patches?
It depends on the formula. Blue Hour is gentle enough for daily morning use; Golden Hour is lovely 2–3× a week or before events; Twilight can be used whenever skin feels stressed; and Dusk (with retinol) is best started 2–3 nights a week. Consistency matters more than frequency.
Can I reuse a pair?
No — patches are single-use. Discard after wearing. Fresh patches mean fresh actives and better hygiene for the delicate eye area.
Should I refrigerate them?
You don't have to, but chilling is lovely. A cold patch feels refreshing and can enhance the de-puffing effect, especially with Blue Hour. Otherwise, store them cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight.
Can I use them with my other skincare?
Yes. Apply patches after cleansing and toner, but before heavier moisturizers or oils. Afterward, press in the leftover essence and continue with your serum or cream.
I have sensitive skin — which one is best?
Twilight is formulated for sensitive, reactive under-eyes — it's fragrance-free and especially gentle. Whichever formula you choose, do a 24-hour patch test before first use.
